The Property Gallery in Tenerife is an established Real Estate Agency.
The Property Gallery was established in 1997 by Peter Williams and has since been going from strength to strength. Having run a very successful commodity business in Bristol, Peter Williams came to Tenerife in 1987. After 10 years of being involved in the property business in Tenerife in 1997, he decided to open up his own Estate Agency, the well-known South establishment, The Property Gallery. When he formed the company he worked out of a small office in the Krystal Centre, but due to need to expand and take on more staff The Property Gallery moved in 2001 into the new and larger premises in Centro Commercial Centro Playa, Local number 9, Puerto Colon in San Eugenio. This is where you still find us today. It is easy to find our office, if you coming down the hill to Puerto Colon marina, Playa de las Americas, pass the Club Atlantis reception on your left, and where the garden area finish on your right in front of Hotel Flamingo there are some steps on your right, you should see a crazy golf sign on our roof and we are basically underneath this, just walk down these stairs (they go down to the Puerto Colon beach) and you will find us halfway down on your right hand side, in the first corner office, just across the yellow bridge.
The Property Gallery has always been a family run business and today his wife, Carola Williams, runs the day to day operations, letting Peter himself take more of a back seat. Together with Carola in the office are Sonya Corris (secretary, legal work and Spanish sales), Nicola Atkins and Gaynor Dorta Rosales (sales consultants covering all other languages). They have all been living and working in Tenerife between 10-20 years each, so have a vast knowledge of how things work here and how to get things done in a culture where the “mañana” syndrome still exists.
When Peter founded The Property Gallery his aim was foremost to assist people to purchase property on this idyllic island without hassle, pressure or the necessity to speak Spanish, and this very much is still the case today. This comes true in the relaxed atmosphere of the office, where the terrace with garden furniture has books with descriptions and pictures of the various properties currently for sale for clients to browse through at their leisure. The main changes to operations has been internally as today we are able to handle a lot more properties on our portfolio thanks to computers. Due to the large demand in the market we have also expanded our work load to include property rentals.
At the same time as being totally honest and professional, The Property Gallery staff will always try to give that personal touch, and apart from spending time with you to understand your property requirements, arrange viewings and accompany you to see the properties you choose to visit and thus helping you find your home in the sun, we will also “hold your hand all the way through the purchase” and help with all the necessary paperwork. Our after service even stretches to taking our clients shopping for furniture if they so wish. In fact this could be considered one of the perks of the job as the girls all love shopping!
